We will be open everyday over Easter weekend in the store and the cafe - so whether you need to stock up on the essentials (or not-so-essentials?)...

OR

....you didn't bring anything and would rather have us cook for you, we can look after you.

This Easter due to special circumstances (ie bushfire), we won't be operating a dinner service, however, if you would like to book a private function (birthday, wedding, national Alien abductions day, international moment of laughter day...) we are here for you.

CUP WEEKEND!!

The weekend everyone loves to bet, even though everyone is more likely than ever to lose... But losing ain't so bad if you're in Wye River, having breakfast with a glass of prosecco, or some lunch with a glass of chardy.... If this sounds like your kind of win, read on!

CAFE HOURS

We will not be open for dinner this cup weekend, however the kitchen will have extended hours for breakfast and lunch, which are:

SAT-SUN-MON with the kitchen open from 730am until 3pm, cafe closing at 4pm.

TUESDAY PUBLIC HOLIDAY kitchen open 730 til 2pm, with the cafe closing at 3pm

See you all down here.

24th APRIL 2015

Winter is coming and we wanted to let you know that we are here for you. Our new Autumn menu is in full swing everyday.

The cafe has taken on a few different formats over the years, but last year we stayed open EVERY DAY, and it was great. So this year we will do the same.

So come and warm your cockles by the fireplace with a hearty soup and a glass of sangiovese. Or just stop in for a coffee and a delicious house-baked pastry on your way down the GOR.

WE WILL BE HERE!

Please don't hesitate to call if you have any questions or enquiries on 03 52890247.

Thank you xo

MARCH !st, 2015

Renovation Rescue

The Wye General Store And Café has just undergone an extensive renovation. The new fitout designed by six degrees architects includes a new kitchen, two expansive outdoor decks and a fantastic new dining area.

2011 Age Good Food Guide

Wye River got even better since the owners of city bar Riverland took over the general store and hired architecture firm Six Degrees to do a stunning makeover.  This dawn-to-late proposition features great coffee, a fantastic array of bread and

pastries courtesy of baker Pip Hayes (ex-Giant Steps), and a crowd-pleasing menu from Nigel Pickup (ex-Healesville Hotel) featuring big breakfasts, artisan pizzas, fish and chips and retro classics.  This is the general store with more.
